Coolant Pipe Replacement - Inlet
Removal Procedure





1. Drain the coolant until the coolant level is below the lower radiator hose.
2. Remove the lower radiator hose from the coolant inlet pipe.
3. Remove the water coolant inlet pipe bolts and the coolant inlet pipe.
4. Remove and discard the coolant inlet pipe seal.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the NEW coolant inlet pipe seal.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the coolant inlet pipe bolts.
^ Tighten the water outlet upper bolt (2) to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the water outlet lower bolt (1) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the lower radiator hose to the coolant inlet pipe. .
4. Fill the cooling system.
