Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

51 33 000 Removing And Installing Power Window Regulator In Left Or Right Front Door

Remove door window glass.
Adjust window lift fully towards bottom.







Caution: Disconnect plug connection (1) from power window motor (risk of trapping).

Unhook cables (2) from clips (3) and (4).







Lever out cap at bottom and release screw (1).
Release screw (3) over bore (4).
Remove rear power window rail (2).

Unscrew bolt (1).
Lever out cap at bottom and release screw (4).
Release screws (2).
Release screw (5).
Pull back window lift (3) a little and disconnect plug connection.
Remove window lift (3) complete with drive.
