Replacing Expansion Valve

Removing And Installing/Replacing Expansion Valve (air-conditioning)

Air conditioner drained.







Unfasten clip from right air ducts, twist air duct and lift out.

Installation:







Fit air duct to end wall, twist and then insert in bottom of microfilter.







Unfasten screws and remove pressure and suction pipe.


CAUTION!
Replace O-rings.
Subsequent operations are identical to the operation, 64 11 200







Remove glove box.
Remove trim sections from right oddments tray, Unfasten screws and pull out air duct for footwell ventilation.







Unfasten screws and remove cover from expansion valve.







Unfasten screws, pull lines slightly apart and remove expansion valve.


CAUTION!
Replace O-rings.
