Replacing Evaporator Temperature Sensor

Replacing Evaporator Temperature Sensor (Climate Control, From 03/2000)







Unscrew bolt (1).
Remove side carpet (2) in direction of arrow towards rear.
Unclip air duct for right footwell (3) and remove towards right.







Remove screws (1) and (2).
Remove retaining bracket (3).

If necessary, remove servodrive of rear compartment flap.







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Pull out evaporator temperature sensor (2) in direction of arrow.







Installation:
Slide gasket (1) as tar as it will go onto evaporator temperature sensor (2).
Slide evaporator temperature sensor (2) centrally into opening (3) until gasket (1) snaps into place.
