Removal of Final Stage Unit

The Final Stage Unit is behind the dash in the passenger side footwell. Pull out the cover under the glovebox.






The FSU is behind a fabric covered plastic panel on the left side:






Unscrew the screw, then slide the panel backward. It is held in place by two metal clips that attach to the frame behind it









The plug is held in place by two clips on the side, squeeze the clips to free it.








The Final Stage Unit is held in place by another clip at the bottom. Push this clip down at the same time you're pulling the Final Stage Unit out.

Once free of the clip, the Final Stage Unit should slide out easily.





Installation is reverse of removal.





New Final Stage Unit in place. Note orientation, it will only go in one way.
