Replacing Both Windshield Wiper Arms

Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Windshield Wiper Arms







Driver's side:
Remove cover.







CAUTION!
Do not bend windshield wiper arm when removing (risk of breakage).


Release nut and remove windshield wiper arm.

Installation:








If necessary, detach dial (1) with special tool 61 6 000 or 61 6 060.

Installation:
Screw dial (1) together with windshield wiper arm onto shaft. Check contact angle to windshield with feeler gauge 00 9 230. As required, adjusted windshield wiper arm on dial.







Passenger side:
Remove caps.







Unscrew nuts.








CAUTION!
Do not bend windshield wiper arms when removing (risk of breakage).


Detach both windshield wiper arms with special tool 61 60 00 or 61 6 060.
