Wiper Arm: Adjustments

The approach angle of the wiper arm on the front windscreen is the
determining factor for wiping quality during intermittent operation and
wiping quality at low roadspeeds.





Fit special tool 00 9 230 beside fulcrum of wiper blade on windscreen.





If the approach angle is incorrect, joint on right wiper arm must be braced with special tool 00 9 261 and rotated into the correct position using special tool 00 9 262.





The approach angle of the Aft wiper arm is adjusted by moving the wiper arm on the shim (1).
