Replacing Center Fresh-Air Grill

Pull out lower glove compartment trim toward rear.





Unclip damper and retaining strap and fold down glove compartment.





Unfasten screws (1) and take off trim (2).





Unhook Bowden cable for mixing flap.





Guide special tool 00 9 300 from center at an angle outward under retaining hooks (1). This releases retaining hooks.





Pry out lower fresh-air grill using special tools 00 9 300 and pull out with Bowden cable. Disconnect cable.
