Replacement

Both Rear Brake Disks

Note: Remove wheels

Remove and clean brake linings if necessary.

Caution: If thickness of brake disk falls below minimum thickness (MIN TH), refer to Brakes, Specification, the old sets of brake linings can still be used up.

New brake linings may only be installed if the brake disk thickness is greater than or equal to the minimum thickness (MIN TH), refer to Brakes, Specification.
Brake disks must be exchanged in pairs (i.e. according to axle). After completing this operation, adjust the handbrake.





Unscrew bolts (1).
Remove and suspend brake caliper from vehicle.

Note: Brake hose remains connected.

Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Brakes, Specification.





Unscrew bolts and take off brake disk.

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Brakes, Specification.
