Replacement

Both Front Brake Disks

Note: Remove wheels.

Remove and clean brake linings if necessary.

Important: If thickness of brake disks fall below a minimum value (MIN TH), refer to Brakes, Specification the old brake lining set can still be used up.

New brake linings must not be installed unless brake disk thickness is greater than or equal to minimum thickness (MIN TH), refer to Brakes, Specification
Brake disks must be exchanged in pairs (i.e. according to axle).





Unfasten screws (1), remove brake caliper and fasten up.

Note: Brake hose remains connected.

Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Brakes, Specifications.





Unscrew bolts and take off brake disk.

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Brakes, Specifications.





Important:
Inboard-vented brake disks are balanced.
Never remove or reposition balance clips.
