Replacing Both Windshield Wiper Arms

Driver's side:
Remove cover.





Unfasten nut and remove wiper arm.

Installation note.
Note tightening torque.





If necessary, remove shim with special tool 61 6 000.

Installation note.
Screw shim and wiper arm onto shaft. Check approach angle to windshield with adjustment gauge 00 9 230 and, if necessary, adjust position of wiper arm with shim.





Passenger side:
Remove cover.





Remove nuts.





Remove both arms with special tool 61 6 000.

Caution!
Do not bend lever. Risk of breakage.
