Replacing Pressure Sensor For DSC

Note:
Before beginning work:
^ Switch off ignition.
^ Protect brake system against unauthorized actuation.
After completing work:
^ Purge front axle circuit.
^ Check pressure sensor under pressure for leaks.
^ Pressure sensor check by DSC system:

Turn on ignition and firmly depress brake pedal.

Warning lamps must not come on any more.





Unlock plug connection (1) and detach.

Detach pressure sensor (2) with special tool 34 5 160

Installation:

Check sealing surfaces and thread of pressure sensor and of hydraulic unit for damage.

Screw in a new pressure sensor immediately after unscrewing the old pressure sensor.

Tightening torque, refer to Specifications.
