ASC+T, DSC1, DSC2, DSC3 Up to 09/98
Operation is identical to replacing the ABS control module.
When replacing the control unit, the motor relay must also be replaced, as a pulse counter is integrated in the control unit with a measured pulse count which cannot be transferred to the new control unit.
Adhere to following sequence when installing a new control module:
On cars with DSC, carry out adjustment of steering angle sensor with DIS under menu item "Service functions".
Carry out end-of-belt test with DIS under menu item "Test modules".
Read out fault memory, clear if necessary.
