Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

Transversal Acceleration Sensor DSC3 Up to 09/98
Note: After replacing lateral acceleration sensor, carry out an adjustment with DIS (Diagnosis Information System) under menu point "Service functions".

Removing driver's seat, refer to the following procedures as required:
Standard seat.
Comfort seat.
Sports seat.
Removing lower left door pillar trim.





Lift floor trim panel (1) and fold to side.
Release plug connector (2) and pull off connector.
Unfasten screws (3) and remove acceleration sensor.

Installation:
Ensure proper locking of plug connector.
