Replacing Battery

Always conform with the following points when car is fitted with two batteries.
- Check the condition of both batteries in a high current test.
- Disconnect the batteries from the car's electrical system and check the batteries separately in high current test.
- Replace both batteries, if after charging the high current tests show a charged condition of less than 70 % and starting power of less than 75 %.
- When replacing a defective battery. the second battery must also be replaced.
- When replacing batteries, ensure that both batteries are of the same make.

Important!
- If both batteries are not replaced at the same time, the older battery could damage the other battery due to the different degree of sulphatation.
- In other words the batteries would discharge on their own to a certain degree.
