Replacing All Left Ignition Leads

- Switch off ignition




- Open clips (1).
- Unfasten hose clip (2).
- Disconnect plug-in connection (3).
- Remove upper section of suction filter housing with mass air flow sensor.




- Designate plug connections on tank vent valve and cut through.




- Open quick release connections on hoses for tank vent valve. Press down interlock (1) and remove hose (2). Remove both tank vent valves from bracket.




- Unfasten screw connection of ignition wiring harness on manifold.
- Remove spark-plug connectors.




- Unfasten cable connector on protective cap of distributor cap.
- Unfasten clips (1 to 3) and remove protective cap for distributor cap.




- Note sequence of ignition leads on the distributor cap and remove the distributor cap.

Installation NOTE: When fitting ignition leads, note firing order.
