Replacing Right Distributor Cap

- Switch off ignition.
- Remove fan.
- Remove non-return valve for cylinders 1-6.




- Press in detent spring on plug connection (2) and separate plug connection (1).
- Remove upper section of right intake filter housing with mass air flow sensor.




- Loosen retainers (1).
- Loosen hose clip (2) on intake hose for air pump.
- Disconnect plug-in connection (3).
- Unfasten hose clip (4).




- Unclip and remove right cover cap at points (1 to 3).




- Pull off shielded connectors.

Installation Note:
- When fitting ignition leads, note firing order.




- Unfasten screws and remove distributor cap.

Tightening Torque: 4 Nm.

CAUTION: Avoid damage to radiator fins!
