Starter Solenoid: Service and Repair

Replacing Magnet Switch







Remove starter motor.
Remove cover.







Unscrew and remove magnet switches (1 and 2).

Installation:
Do not twist cable shoe when tightening down - danger of short circuit.







Remove magnet switches (1) and springs (2).
Disconnect pin (3).

Installation:
Check pin (3) for signs of wear and lubricate with grease.
