Replacement

Driver's side:
Remove cover.





Unfasten screw (1) with special tool 61 6 010.





Unfasten nut (2) with special tool 61 6 010.
Screw (1) must be replaced and installed using Loctite.

Installation:

Clean Loctite residue off thread.





Tighten screw (1) against the tappet (3) until dimension (A = 1.3 mm measured with a feeler gauge) is achieved between contact pressure adjustment lever (2) and wiper arm (4).

Installation:
Press wiper arm gently against windscreen, making it is easier to fit the nut.





Passenger side:
Remove cover.





Unfasten nut.
Observe tightening torque.





Remove both arms with special tool 61 6 000.

Caution!
Do not bend lever. Risk of breakage.
