Procedure

To identify the software level of the Interface Box:

1. Turn ignition switch to "ON "position.

2. Telephone must have powered up with ignition switch "ON"; radio must be off.

3. Wait for Board Monitor Screen to power up.

4. Select Menu (push MENU button).

5. Move cursor box (by rotating selector knob) to highlight "Telephone".

6. Turn ignition switch "OFF" for at least 5 seconds and then turn to "ON" position.

7. Screen should appear as in step 5. Quickly select "Telephone" (by pressing selector knob) on Board Monitor.

8. Quickly scroll to "INFO" (rotate selector knob two clicks clockwise) then Press and Hold the knob for 6 seconds.

9. Software version will appear in the color band at the top of the screen for approximately 3 seconds (Example: EJB HW01 SW01).

If the software identification version SW01 is displayed, replace the Interface Box EPROM with the one of version SW02.
