Replacing Heater Core, Rear

- Remove storage shelf, rear and front.





- Disconnect water hoses (1).

Caution!
Place a suitable container and cleaning cloth underneath pipes and catch emerging coolant.

- Release union nuts (2) and pull coolant pipes apart. Refrigerant lines remain connected.

Installation:
Replace O-rings.





- Remove insulating material from water valve.

- Release screws (1) and remove water valve (2) with feed line.

NOTE:
Heater/air conditioning remains installed. To simplify understanding, the heater/air conditioning is shown removed.





Installation:
Replace O-ring (1).





- Release screws (1) and remove heating element (2) with return line from housing.
