Heater Core Case: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing / Replacing Heater





Unfasten water hoses (1) to end panel. Carefully blow out lines to clear remaining coolant from heater.

Draw off coolant and unfasten both tubes (2) on the end wall. Unfasten screws (3) on the end wall.

Remove steering column.

Remove trim from instrument panel.
Refer to Dash Board; Service and Repair Service and Repair

Remove center console.
Refer to Console; Service and Repair Service and Repair

Remove reinforcing tubes from left and right sides.

Remove heater.

Installation:
Evacuate and charge air conditioner. Evacuating and Charging Air Conditioner (R-134A)

Filling and bleeding the cooling system. Service and Repair
