Scope of Repairs on the 565 560G Transmission

MODELS:
850i/CSi

Situation:
The following repairs have been approved for the six-speed manual transmission. Repair parts and the special service tools are available through the PDCs.





- Replacement of guide sleeve for clutch release bearing





- Replacement of input shaft oil seal

- Replacement of transmission vent

- Replacement of reverse light switch








- Replacement of bellows, seal, and bearing support for shift shaft








- Replacement of output flange oil seal

The above repairs are detailed in the 8 Series E31 Repair Manual Number 3 dated 10/93.
