Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

Fuel Filter Arrangement:

REMOVE AND INSTALL
- With the ignition "OFF", clamp the inlet and outlet hoses of both filters to prevent fuel leakage.
- Remove the bolt mounting the filter assembly to the chassis and lower the assembly.
- Remove the lower hoses (4 & 5) from the fuel filters.

CAUTION: Catch escaping fuel in an appropriate container.

- Remove the upper fuel hoses, filter mounting straps and the fuel filters.
- Install the fuel filters with the directional arrows or "OUT" pointing down from the fuel pumps (source) and remove the clamps.
- Install in reverse manner.
