Blower Motor: Service and Repair
1. Disable airbag system, refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Service and Repair.2. Run wipers to parked position, then remove wiper arms.

3. Move blower switch to Off position, then switch ignition On and Off before disconnecting cable, in order to have drive motor close air flaps, Fig. 13.
4. Disconnect battery ground cable.
5. Remove air box cover, then pull up air box.
6. Remove prop and disconnect cable fully.
7. Disconnect linkage and cable, then pull temperature sensor out of eyelet.
8. Remove retaining strap and cover, then pull plug of blower.
9. Remove cover on fuel injectors, then disconnect electric lead duct of fuel injectors.
10. On right side, disconnect leads of fuel injection plate.
11. Unplug pulse and TDC senders from bracket, then unclip leads to oxygen sensors in holders on bottom of transmission bellhousing.

12. Unclip leads on firewall, then tie electric lead duct of fuel injectors and position aside, Fig. 14.
13. Remove blower motor and pry out retaining strap.
14. Reverse procedure to install.
