Trouble Code 205 (Brake Light Switch/Brake Light Test Switch)

DETECTION, BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH AND BRAKE LIGHT TEST SWITCH DEFECTIVE
Explanation
The selector lever cannot be engaged in a drive position despite the brake pedal being depressed.

Possible Cause
Brake test switch and brake light switch inputs to the control unit are both defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring. Compare displayed brake light switch and brake light test switch with actual situation. A voltage of 12 V is applied at Pin 10 when the brake light switch is active. Ground is applied at Pin 50 when the brake test switch is active.
