Auxiliary Fan Control
IHKR1 [1][2]AUXILIARY FAN CONTROL
The [1][2]auxiliary fan is a two-speed "pusher" fan, mounted in front of the A/C condenser.
Fan operation can be triggered three different ways:
- By a request from the IHKR control module (normal-speed operation).
- By high refrigerant pressure (high-speed operation), when refrigerant pressure reaches 260 psi (18 bar).
- By high coolant temperature (normal-speed operation), when coolant temperature reaches 196 °F (91 °C) (fan runs at normal speed), or when coolant temperature reaches 210 °F (99 °C) (fan runs at high speed).
