Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair

WARNING: Review Service Precautions. Improper handling could cause activation of the airbag(s) and lead to injuries!

Capacitor Replacement:

REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Remove the control module.
- Open cover with a feeler gage blade (0.20mm) or small screwdriver.

Capacitor Replacement:

- Remove screws and take off capacitor.

Capacitor Replacement:

- Clean contact surfaces (K).
- Reinstall in reverse order.
