A totally new climate control system has been developed for the E32. Important features of this system are:
^ Temperature and air distribution may be selected individually for the left and right sides.
^ Blower speed is automatically adjusted according to road speed to keep the desired air volume constant, regardless of the speed of the car.
^ Simpler design and repair procedures than previous climate control system.
^ Easier to use and understand control panel.
^ Logging of faults in the control unit so that they may be read out with the diagnostic link in the BMW Service Tester.
^ Ability of the control unit to substitute a replacement value when a wrong input signal is received.
^ Automatic electric heating of the front and rear windows.
