Push Buttons

Operation
3 push buttons are located in the IHKR operating unit.

^ Rear window defogger button
^ A/C button
^ Recirculated air button

With the IHKR switched on and the engine running, the rear window defogger is switched on (defrost stage) by pressing the button once. The function lamp lights and the defrosting time runs down from 600 seconds to 0. After the defrosting time has elapsed, the function LED goes out and the rear window defogger is switched off for 80 seconds - and switched on for 40 seconds. This modulation is continued until this status is changed by pressing the rear window defogger button or after the ignition was switched off for longer than 3 minutes and the control unit switched off. If the defogger button is pressed during modulation mode, the system is switched over to defrosting. The rear window defogger is switched off by pressing the button once again.
