3.Auxiliary Relay Box Modiflcation

- Remove remaining aux. relay box relays with multiplugs attached and 8 pin connector by releasing side mount tab locks and lifting each component.


- Unscrew 6 mm B+ connection and set aside 6 mm nut and washer. Remove B+ stud base by releasing tab lock and lifting.



- Remove aux. relay box by unscrewing 2 plastic 6 mm base fasteners. Detach harness weather boots and remove relay box.

- Mount relay box between wooden blocks or in a vise and enlarge designated ventilation opening in box floor area. The opening should be enlarged to approximately 5/8" diameter using a drill, reameror round file.

Caution:
The edges of the enlarged opening must be dressed perfectly smooth as the new fuel pump harness must pass thru the opening without chafing or damage.
