2.Positive Cylinder Bank Fuel System Identification

"TYPICAL" RELAY LOCATIONS:




- Refer to the illustration on the facing page for "typical" relay location.



- Remove Fuel Pump Relay I by pressing tab lock toward plug base while lifting relay and plug as a combined unit.



- Confirm Fuel Pump Relay I identify by checking control circuit wire color.

- Fuel Pump Relay I (cyl 1-6) terminal # 85 = Brown/Green/Yellow.

- If wire color does not agree, check the other fuel pump relay.



- Attach the cyl 1-6 identification flag to Fuel Pump Relay I harness, several inches from Relay I multiplug base.



- Remove Main Relay I by pressing tab lock toward plug base while lifting relay and plug as a combined unit.

- Confirm Main Relay I identity by checking control circult wire color.

- Main Relay I (cyl 1-6) terminal # 85 = Brown/Yellow/White.

- Attach Bank 1, cyl 1-6 identification flag to Maln Relay I harness, several inches from relay multiplug base.



- Before proceeding further with the electrical update procedures, it is necessary to modify the relay box and to install the new fuel pump relay harness.
