Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

Remove

Ventilation Grille Mounting Screws:

- Remove screws 1 - 4 and take off the ventilation grille.

Mounting Screws:

- Pull off the rubber seal.
- Remove screws 1 - 12.
- Lift up the cover.

Servo Line:

- Detach the line from the right servo (white,stage 1).

Servo Lines:

- Detach the lines from the left servo (2-stage).
Black line at base of servo.
Violet line at side of servo.

Blower Housing:

- Temperature sensor (1).
- Detach plug (2) and relay with base (3).

Blower Housing:

- Release over-center clip (1).
- Take off the protective grille (2) and slide the cover to one side to remove it.

Refit

Blower Final Stage:

- Renew the cover with the final (output) stage attached.
