The Bayerische Motoren Werke AG is proud to announce the new BMW 325e model. The engineering of this model meets the latest emission standards.

In order to simplify maintenance and utilize modern micro processing techniques, BMW AG has developed the so called Motronic, a micro computer control system for regulating ignition timing and fuel ignition quantity which, additionally, has been laid out in such a way as to reduce the harmful exhaust emissions to a minimum.

All other components of the emission control system have been retained.

These are:

- Oxygen sensor

- Catalytic converter

- Evaporative control system

- Crankcase emission control system

- Service warning light.

The engine and emission control systems of the aforementioned model are designed to run on unleaded fuel. Always use unleaded fuel with at least 91 RON or 87 AKI.

Warning:
If the car is operated even only for a short period of time on fuel containing lead, both oxygen sensor and catalytic converter are damaged.

To fulfill the EPA Emission Standards, oxygen sensor and catalytic converter must be replaced after using fuel containing lead.
