In order to assist your service personnel to maximize customer satisfaction during the winter months, the attached summary of winter-related complaints has been prepared.
Please immediately plan a meeting to discuss this information with your service advisors, shop foreman, and all BMW Service Technicians to develop an effective customer handling program this winter.
Also, please devise a program to invite as many customers as is possible to have their vehicles receive these up-dates in addition to up-dating all affected vehicles in your service department for warranty repairs on scheduled maintenance.

In order to assist your service personnel to maximize customer satisfaction, Service
Information Bulletin 05 05 84 (941), pertaining to Winter-related Complaints, and 05 06 84 (946), a summary of Vehicle Modification Updates, has been forwarded to your BMW Service Manager.
Please be sure that all service personnel are familiar with this information and that it is readily available for use by them during the normal course of business.
Also, please have your BMW Service Manager devise a program to invite as many customers in as is possible to have their vehicles receive these up-dates, in addition to up-dating all affected vehicles in your service department for warranty repairs or scheduled maintenance.
