Setting the Clock




Turn the ignition switch to the number one, or accessory, position.




Press the TIME/LOCK Key three times. The digital display should read 0, and the AM indicator light should be on.

For PM time, hold the key down until the PM indicator light comes on.

Now enter the correct time with the numbered keys. The display will appear in the window. Wait until the display blinks, and press the Start key.

To set the clock to an exact time, such as a quartz watch or radio time, do.not press the Start key until the exact time is reached. This will set the clock to the second.

Remember, the clock will not begin operating until the Start key has been pressed. A decimal point will appear between the hours and minutes display, indicating the clock is functioning.

The computer normally displays the clock or Time-of-Day, unless another function is called for. The new function will appear in the display window and hold for 8 seconds. Then the display will revert to the clock.
