Automobile computers, built in, or "On-Board," have been around for a number of years. They've been featured on both domestics and on imports. But they weren't all that accurate, and didn't offer all that many features. They were really pretty simple.

But not any more! BMW is proud to include an entirely new generation of On-Board Computers on some of our models. It's really quite special, and adds a whole new dimension to your driving pleasure.

However, to take full advantage of our new On-Board Computer, it's important to know the hardware that makes the system work, and the Software necessary to realize the greatest benefits.
