Input Shaft Ball Bearing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Punch (VW 412)

• Bushing Puller (3046)

• Sleeve (VW 415 A)

• Pressure Plate (VW 401)

• Pressure Plate (VW 402)

Removing

- Remove the dual clutch - 1 -. Refer to => [ Dual Clutch ] Dual Clutch.





- Remove the circlip - arrow - on the removed clutch cover.





- Remove dual clutch ball bearing.





Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• Replace the O-ring and the circlips.

- Install dual clutch ball bearing all the way.

• Position Tube (VW 415 A) with the thin shoulder facing up.





- Install new ball bearing circlip - arrow -.





- Clean sealing surface on the clutch cover.
