TV System

TV Tuner

The TV tuner (R78) is located behind the left trim panel inside the luggage compartment.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Protective Cap for Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

- If control module is replaced, select replacement function for appropriate control module in guided fault-finding routine.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051) to do so.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Remove the luggage compartment left side trim..

- Remove the bracket and radio (R) and move it to the side. Refer to => [ Radio, MMI ] Radio, MMI.

- Disconnect the TV tuner (R78) - 1 - connectors - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -.





- Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Remove the nuts - arrows - on the bracket - 1 -





- Remove the TV tuner and bracket - 1 -.

The TV tuner is attached to the bracket.

- Remove the screws - arrows - on the side of the bracket - 2 - and slide the TV tuner - 1 - to the rear and out of the bracket - 2 -.





Installing

- Install in reverse order.
