Reservoir and Suction Hoses Installation Position

Installation Position Reservoir to Bracket, Applies to All Engine Versions Except 10-Cylinder TFSI






- Install the reservoir to the ESP hydraulic unit bracket as illustrated.

- Install the reservoir in the tensioning band as shown in the illustration.

The marking - 1 - must be in the center - 2 - of the tensioner.

Installation Position Intake Hose to the Reservoir, Applies to all Engine Versions Except 10-Cylinder TFSI






The markings - 2 - on the hoses must align with the bars - 1 - on the reservoir.

Installed Position Reservoir, Applies to 10-Cylinder TFSI Engine

- 2 - Nut: 8 Nm

Grommet - 3 -

Installed Position Intake Hose to Reservoir, Applies to 10-Cylinder TFSI Engine






The dash markings - 2 - on the hoses must align with the bars - 1 - on the reservoir.
