Backrest Heating Element

Removing

- Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Upholstery ] Backrest Cover and Upholstery.

- Disconnect cover from upholstery. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Separating from Upholstery ] Backrest Cover, Separating from Upholstery.

- Cut wire - 3 - from old backrest heating element - 1 -.





• The old backrest heating element remains on the upholstery - 2 - and the new backrest heating element is bonded over it.

Installation

- Center the new backrest heating element - 1 - on the cushion - 2 -.





- Remove protective foil and bond new backrest heating element - 3 - to upholstery - 1 - and the old backrest heating element.

- Lay the new backrest heating element wire - 3 - in the base of the depression in the upholstery.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
