Strut Tower Brace: Service and Repair

Tower Brace

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing






- Remove the plenum chamber cover rubber seal - 1 -.

- Remove plenum chamber cover - see arrow - forward.

- Remove multi-point socket head bolts - 1 - and - 3 -.






- Remove the dome brace - 2 - upward and out of the plenum chamber.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
