Seat Belt Guide Track: Service and Repair







Rear Belt Guide

Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Removing






Do not rotate the bolts - 2 - under any circumstances when removing and installing belt guide - 1 -. The manufacturer has already set the bolts.

Replace the entire belt guide if damaged.

- Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Side Trim ] Side Trim.

- Remove the foam part from the gap.

- Release the belt guide retaining hooks - arrow -.

- Slide the belt guide - 1 - back until the bolt heads - 2 - can be disengaged from the console on the body.

- On the rear outer right seat belt guide, disconnect the connector for the rear parking aid warning buzzer (H15).

- Thread the belt webbing out of the belt guide and remove the belt guide.

Installing

- Position the belt guide - 1 - on the console.

- Insert the belt guide with the bolt heads - 2 - in the guides on the console.

- Press the belt guide down while pulling it forward. This engages the bolt heads in the guides.

- Pull the belt webbing forward until the retaining hooks engage audibly.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
