Generator Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Diameter (3094)

• Hose Clamp Pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing

- Remove the front noise insulation - 2 -.





• Lay a cloth below to catch escaping coolant.

- Clamp off the coolant hoses - arrows - with Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Diameter (3094) and remove them from the generator coolant pipe.





- Remove the bolt - arrows - and the generator coolant pipe.





• The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

• Ignore - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes in Engine Compartment Assembly Overview ] Coolant Pipes In Engine Compartment Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Check coolant level => [ Filling ] Procedures.

- Install the front noise insulation.
