Seat Belt Microphone Control Module






Seat Belt Microphone Control Module

The Seat Belt Microphone Control Module (J886) - 1 - is located behind the rear panel on the left side





- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

It is necessary to remove the rear trim panel, the rear storage compartment, the front cover the trim panel on the rear end panel first in order to be able to remove the seat belt microphone control module.

- Remove the rear trim panel and the rear storage compartment.

- Remove the front cover and the end panel trim panel.

Remove the fuse carrier and the upper cover.

- Remove the bolts - 2 - from the fuse carrier - 1 - and move the fuse carrier - 1 - to the side.





- Disconnect the control module connectors on the upper cover.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - and nuts - 2 - on the upper cover - 1 - first.





- Remove the bolts - 3 - and remove the upper cover - 1 -.

The following describes removing the bracket and the control modules.

- Disconnect the control module connectors from the bracket - 2 -.





- Remove the bolts - 1 - on the bracket - 2 -. Move the bracket - 2 - upward and disconnect the connectors from the Satellite Radio (R146).

- Remove the bracket - 2 -.

The seat belt microphone control module can now be removed.

- Disconnect the connectors from the seat belt microphone control module.

- Remove the nuts - 2 - from the seat belt microphone control module - 1 - and then remove the seat belt microphone control module - 1 - from the bracket.





Installing

- Install in reverse order.
