Secondary Air Injection Right Combination Valve
Removing
- Pull rear engine cover off - arrows -.
- Free up fuel line and line to EVAP canister on air guide pipe.
- Remove vacuum line - 4 - to air guide hose from suction jet pump.
CAUTION!
Emissions laws could be violated.
• Do not open hose connection - 2 -!
- Lay aside air guide hose with connected crankcase ventilation hose - 3 - by loosening hose clamps - 2 and 5 -.
- Remove noise insulation by loosening fasteners - 1, 2, 4 -.
• Ignore - 3 -.
- Remove bracket for noise insulation - arrows -.
- Remove vacuum hose - 6 - from the secondary air injection (AIR) combination valve.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 7 - from below.
- Press the release buttons and remove the air guide hoses - 3 and 4 - from above.
- Move air guide hose to the side.
- Remove bolt - 2 - and free up electrical wiring on secondary air injection (AIR) combi-valve.
- Remove secondary air injection combination valve - 5 -.
• The engine is shown from behind to provide a better illustration.
Installing
• Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview ] Service and Repair.
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
• Replace gaskets and O-rings.
• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.
• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.
