1 - Bolt

• 60 Nm

CAUTION!
When installing, bolt must not be driven through plastic bush of balancing element by hammer blows, refer to => [ Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function ] Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function.

• When installing, screw in bolt through balancing element (refer to => [ Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function ] Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function ) into threaded bush - 7 - of mounting element - 9 -.

2 - Washer

3 - Cross Member

• Before removing, bumper must be removed.

• Removing power outlet from trailer hitch. Refer to removing electrical connector coupling => [ Removing Electrical Connector Coupling ] Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function.

• Remove hex bolt - 1 - completely from longitudinal member.

• Remove the multi-point bolts - 7 - on both sides.

• Pull crossmember of trailer hitch out of longitudinal members.

• Installing, refer to => [ Trailer Hitch ] Trailer Hitch.

4 - Ball Head

5 - Retaining Plate

6 - Electrical Connector Coupling

• Removal => [ Removing Electrical Connector Coupling ] Trailer Hitch Balancing Element Function.

7 - Bolt

• 30 Nm

8 - Tubular Rivet

• 2x per side

9 - Threaded Plate

• Riveted to longitudinal member from below.
