Damper Unit, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required





^ Counter-holder tool 10 - 201

Removing

Proceed as follows:

^ Transmission removed.





- Insert counter hold tool 10 - 201 to loosen bolts - arrow -.





- Remove bolts -1- and damper unit -A- from flywheel -B-.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Note:
^ The damper unit part number is assigned to the transmission code.

- Re-position counter hold tool 10 - 201 to tighten bolts.
- Align damper unit -A- on flywheel -B-.

^ The installation markings -2- must align.

- Install bolts by hand until they make contact and then tighten in a diagonal sequence.

Tightening specifications
