Vehicle Information
Condition
The fuel gauge needle is on "empty" or in "reserve" although the fuel tank has just been filled to capacity.
Technical Background
After filling the fuel tank to capacity, the fuel gauge needle can stay in the empty or reserve area and/or rise very slowly to full.

Service
SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the instrument cluster (J285), address word 17, using the SVM action code as listed in the table if necessary.
