Seat Height Adjustment Unit

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

• Engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095)

• Fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136)

Removing

- Remove seat => [ Seat ].

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove the seat pan => [ Seat Pan ].

- Remove the front backrest => [ Backrest ].

- Remove the bolt - 3 -.





- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 4 -.

- Remove the seat height adjustment unit - 5 - and retaining plate - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications => [ Seat Height Adjustment Unit Assembly Overview ] Bucket Seats Overview.

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
